Let me introduce myself; I am Malika, an experienced UX design and research manager with a background in visual, product and architectural design interested in facilitating an experience for users of digital and physical products.

I see design as a medium - to tell a story, to shape an experience, and to translate an idea into a physical or a digital product.

I graduated with distinction (top 5%) from Harvard Graduate School of Design with Masters in Design Studies of Technology. During and post-graduation from Harvard, I worked on many projects breaking the norms of conventional design methodologies. I worked in the Adaptive Living Environments (ALIVE) group jointly with Harvard's REAL group (Responsive Environment & Artifacts LAB), MaPs (Material Processes and Systems Group), robotics lab and WYSS Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering to investigate technologies and products.

Along with 10+ experience in design, I also have two years of education in business and economics that helps my analytical and problem-solving skills. My passion for design, interest in latest technologies, and a keen interest in creating unique experiences together fuel creative appetite. I believe design has the ability to transform human experience, lifestyle, and emotions.  I'm passionate about making things that make an impact.  My dream is to travel the world, observe design and beauty in every form. Design and travel have become my biggest passions today, and they are a perfect pair with which I intend to explore the world!
