This project explores the possibility of using optic fibers in concrete to create dynamic wall interacting with exterior conditions, along with the possibility of collecting sunlight from external facade to darker interior spaces. Since the fiber optic was to be placed in exterior walls a few key design parameters for set;
1: Fiber optic to be running through a reinforced retaining concrete wall.
2: Looking at fabrication techniques to allow easy placement and pre-fabrication.
4: Seating to be designed within this retaining wall for reading and other purposes.
3: Re-designing the reinforcement in the concrete keeping the positions of the seating and fiber optic tubes for the desired effect,
